Beginning His Professional Singing Career During The Late 1940's, Jones Recorded For Both The Specialty And Imperial Labels And Had A Couple Of Hits And A Few That Were Not; Those Songs Are Now Considered A Must-Have In Anyone's Collection. After 1961, Jones Worked In A Sugar Factory Prior To Returning The Studio In 1975 And Recording "New Orleans R&B Gems" - That Record Faithfully Copied The R&B Style And Sound Of The 1950's.
