Lettuce is a genre-busting six-member musical collective formed in 1992. Their sound combines funk with strains of hip-hop, rock, psychedelia, jazz, soul, jam, go-go, and the avant-garde.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the end of U.S. involvement in Vietnam.

A new showcase exhibit, Casting Light: Photographs of the Vietnam War opens at the Ford Museum on April 21 and uses iconic photographs from American photojournalists to capture how presidents and the American public grappled with the reality of the conflict.

The Franciscan Life Process Center is now offering music lessons in piano, guitar, drums, and brass instruments, as well as beginning voice. 

Enrollment is open for weekly half-hour lessons, which are held at the Center's campuses in Lowell and Grand Rapids. 

There are immediate openings for children 8 years old through high school and adults of all skill levels, and lesson times are flexible.
